Q. Where do you find hotels for sale?

A. Our acquisitions team is in constant contact with hotel investment sales teams around the country sourcing the best deals.

Q. Can I sell a rental home and do a 401 exchange to put off taxes?

A. Not at this time, unfortunately.

Q. How many hotels do you currently have in your portfolio?

A. We currently own and operate 11 Marriott and Hilton hotels.

Q. Maybe hotels on sale have not recovered from COVID because travelers are switching to Airbnb or Vrbo — what do you think?

A. Airbnb and Vrbo are for leisure travelers rather than the business travel customers that typically choose our hotels.

Q. I live in Curaçao, but I wish to invest. Is this possible?

A. Yes, you are able to invest as a non-citizen.

Q. Is the monthly dividend automatically re-invested?

A. Unfortunately, you are unable to set up automatic re-investment, but you may manually re-invest at any time you’d like.

Q. If AHG doesn’t acquire this property, is there a back-up?

A. We have hundreds of deals in the pipeline at any one moment. It’s all about finding the perfect properties that fit our investment criteria.

Q. If I invest additional funds, is the new investment held separately?

A. No, they would be added to your existing investment account.

Q. How would I liquidate my investment? Is there a set end point?

A. The liquidation event is in 3-5 years when we sell the portfolio.
